About ACT

The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. It was first introduced in November 1959 as a competitor to the SAT. It has now gained wide spread popularity in the market due to its student friendly format and receptiveness.

ACT Test Format:

You’ll earn one ACT score (1 to 36) on each test (English, Math, Reading and Science) and a composite ACT score, which is an average of these four tests. Usually, when people ask about your score, they’re referring to your composite ACT score. The composite score falls between 1 and 36.
The ACT is offered seven times a year in the United States and is offered five times a year in India – September, October, December, April, and June.
